Aluminum Wick Holders with Cotton Wick for Oil Lamps and Candles - 10 Pack

Firefly Brand offers a pack of 10 aluminum wick holders threaded with 5-1/2 inches of 2.6mm wick. These are specifically designed for use with Firefly Refillable Liquid Candles such as Bliss, Bliss Petite, Votives, Aura, Zen Petite, Transcend, and Ethereal Oil Candles. However, it's important to note that they will NOT fit wine bottles or tiki torches. If you need wicks for wine bottles, they are available for purchase in our store.

The diameter of the aluminum wick holder barrel is 5/16 inch, while the head of the barrel is 1/2 inch wide and the height of the wick holder is 9/16 inch. The wicks are threaded through a 1/16-inch drilled hole in the wick holder. The wick itself is a round, tubular, woven, cotton wick with a diameter of about 1/8 inch (2.6mm) and a length of 5-1/2 inches.

These wicks and holders are suitable for small oil candles and are recommended for use in ceramic, stainless, and glass oil lamps, as well as DIY Mason jar candles requiring a small round, tubular wick. It's important to use premium fuels such as Firefly Paraffin Lamp Oil, Safe and Green, and Firefly CLEAN Lamp Oil, and avoid vegetable oils, mineral oil, and alcohol.

To ensure the longevity of your replacement wicks, it's important to trim the wick when its performance declines. If a wick needs to be trimmed, simply push it up, cut the scorched area, and reset it just above the wick holder. This will help conserve fuel and eliminate smoke when using quality, smokeless fuels. Additionally, it's important to never let your candle run out of fuel and to handle the wick with care to prevent it from being pulled out of the wick holder - dental floss can be used to re-thread the wick if necessary.
